The ISC maintains several pages for selecting data from the On-Line Bulletin. Some of the pages are easier to use or allow more flexible selections, but may require a more advanced browser. If you are reading this page from within the help facility for the On-line Bulletin, a red button at the upper left of this window should restore focus to a selection page that has already been loaded. If you have difficulty retrieving the data you want, please consider using one of the links below to load a different selection page into a new browser window.
The Rectangular Selection Page can be used to
select events from the ISC's relational database within regions
bounded by lines of constant latitude and longitude, over arbitrary
time periods. The form is compact and includes an on-line help
facility but requires a Javascript-capable browser.
The Circular Selection Page can be used to
select events from the ISC's relational database within any distance
of any point that you choose, but runs much more slowly than
rectangular selection for large regions. The form is compact and
includes an on-line help facility but requires a Javascript-capable
browser.
The Interactive Selection Page can be used to
select specific queries from the ISC's relational database within regions
bounded by customized polygons, over arbitrary time periods.
The Unscripted Selection Page can be used to
select events from the ISC's relational database within either a
rectangular or circular region (although the circular selection is
much slower). The form is compatible with almost any browser, but
lacks on-line help and requires scrolling and entering data into
more fields than the other pages.
The Arrivals Selection Page can be used to
select phase arrivals at a station or several stations within any
time interval that you choose. The form is compatible with almost
any browser, but lacks on-line help and may require scrolling and
entering data into more fields than the other pages.
Special Projects Contribution can be used to search data as part of a research project by an individual investigator.
Data Collection This page can be used to obtain lists of data reports contributed recently, contributed for earthquakes during a particular month, or contributed by a particular agency.
The Monthly Files Selection Page is no longer available.
