| Description: | As a part of EPSI project (Earthquake Parameters and Standardized Information), work package 2 was set up to suggest a standard for earthquake parameter computation in European-Mediterranean region. The unified reference magnitude was of a particular concern. To ensure that the magnitudes are computed by the participating institutions with regard to the same event positions, the ISC was requested to recompute locations of events from so named reference list. The list was supposed to be compiled by the Geophysical Institute of Israel. |
